The Google Keyboard has just caught up with its competitors with the latest update. Now it’s easier to type with one hand, customise the size and more.

You can tell of the significant update with more well-defined keys. Hold down the comma key (“,”) and you get a pop-up option to go one-handed. The feature lets you squeeze the keyboard to either of the sides of the screen.

You can also change the heights of the keys with a scrubber that lets you decide how much of the screen space the keyboard is going to take up.

Another useful feature is that if you swipe on the delete key, it will delete the entire word instead of having to hold it down. Also, moving the cursor around only requires you to swipe fingers on the space bar.
